Services

NHS and social care specialists

Health and care is not like other markets. Decisions involve clinicians, commissioners, councils, care providers and families, and every one of them needs something different. We help you design, sell and deliver in a way that fits.

What we know

Experience from inside the sector

Our founder has spent eight years in senior roles at UK home care and live in care companies across London and the South East, working with NHS trusts, GPs and councils on getting people home from hospital. We also build in the sector ourselves: Coming Home: Family Care, our own iPhone app, is designed for families looking after someone at home.

What we do

What we do

  • Mapping the system: who is involved, who decides, and who pays
  • Propositions and messaging for clinicians, commissioners, councils, providers and families
  • Go to market plans for health and care, including partnerships and referral routes
  • Product and service design for patients, carers and care teams
  • Digital tools for care: web apps, iPhone apps and admin systems
  • Workflow reviews for care operations: referrals, surveys, quotes, scheduling and follow up
  • Plain English content, guides and literature for families and professionals
  • Accessibility and data protection built in from day one

Our approach to standards

Designed with sector standards in mind

NHS

We plan around how NHS teams, trusts and pathways actually work, and we never borrow NHS identity or imply NHS endorsement.

Social care

We design for care providers, councils, families and the people they support, with plain language and dignity at the centre.

Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA in everything we design and build, and we test with keyboards and screen readers.

UK GDPR

We practise data protection by design: collect less, explain clearly, and keep people in control of their information.

NHS style data security

We shape our working practices around the kind of controls the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) expects.

Questions

Questions

We work alongside NHS trusts, GPs and councils, and we can contract directly or through your preferred route. If you need a specific framework or supplier registration, tell us at the discovery call and we'll confirm how we can work with you.

No. Our background is commercial, product and digital. Where a project needs clinical input, we will say so and work with your clinical leads.

Yes. We can map how Discharge to Assess works in your area, where people get stuck between hospital and home, and what your service needs to have in place to take referrals quickly and safely.

Why sometimes less is more

Fewer features, fewer messages, fewer steps. Why doing less, on purpose, often makes products, brands and services better for the people who use them.
